There is no class certification at Mt. Gox suit

In the latest legal developments about the 2014 hack of Mt. Gox, perhaps the most famous bitcoin exchange event in history, a US federal judge has rejected an offer for victim class testimony.

“A federal judge in Illinois… rejected an offer to testify for a class of defunct Japanese bitcoin exchange client Mt. Gox, saying it was not reasonable to conclude that 30,000 presumed class members shared the lead plaintiff’s explanations of Mt. Gox’s terms of use or even read it” Law360 mentioned.
